Headquarters (HQ)

 The objective of Headquarters (HQ) has always been in line with the vision of the council, which is to be the voice of the the student population. Working in close collaboration with the school's Student Life & Services Department, and by supporting the rest of the three departments in the council, we serve as the backbone of the Student Representative Council.

We strongly believe in promoting a vibrant and holistic campus experience for all students. Events such as Freshmen Orientation Day, Freshmen Orientation Camp are held yearly to kick off the campus school life of the students.

Wow, time really flies and this will be my third and final year. The past two years have been monumental and simply beyond spectacular. Many people ask, ‘Why spend your last year with SRC? Go get yourself an internship, or go back to do what you like, an educational camp coach!’ 

I guess one word explains it all. 
Passion.

Yes! I am passionate about all things SRC, and am passionate about meeting new faces and having the opportunity to collaborate with people. I am passionate about being the voice of the student population in SIM-UOL, and most of all, I am passionate with the idea of bringing forth new and exciting activities to enrich the life of the student population.

My vision as the President, would be to have SRC come together as one big happy family, working and having fun together all at the same time. There will not only be opportunities to work across all departments, but also plenty of fun for all through the year. The 11^th EXCO welcomes you, to a brand new year of buzz and joy.

As the vice-president, my vision is to bring the council members together to promote and provide a holistic and exciting campus experience for the students of SIM.

The friendship and bonds forged are my biggest takeaways in SRC, and not forgetting the skills and experience which i gain from event planning and working with people from all aspects of life!

The school provides the council with the avenue to host our activities. Hence, we are then able to create the opportunity for the members to build friendships across SRC and at the same time gain valuable experience for future challenges in life. In SRC, we learn and have fun at the same time.

About Her:

Taking up the Secretary role in SRC has never come across my mind. Being an introvert, I have never thought that I can deliver a speech in front of the whole student body. This is where the 2 years of knowledge and experience gained from organizing events made me step out of my comfort zone. SRC has brought my university life to a more vibrant and fun-loving journey.

As a member of the 11^th Executive committee, I hope to make SRC a more cohesive and friendly environment where everyone can share their ideas and help one another. I believe transparency and openness is the key factor to bridging the gap between council and students. I strive to work hard with my never say die attitude!
