Sports Department

At Sports, our name says it all. We are the department that plans every event that is sports-related. From Soccer, to Ultimate Frisbee, to more extreme sports such as Dodgeball, its all in our care. 

We aspire to bring a fun, sporty atmosphere to the school, by organising events which showcase the best in sporting ability of our students. But not only do we focus on the physical, we focus on the mental skills of the members in the department as well. The committee which undergoes the planning process for the event learns various skills in organising events. From the major to the minor, all details are well taken care of during planning, and meticulously executed on the actual day itself.

You determine your own success and more often than not, one does not realize how close he/she is to the end of the tunnel upon giving up. This is what I hold in life, and firmly believe many others out there do so too.

 As Deputy Sports Head, I hope to bring more sports events to the school so as to provide students a more vibrant and fulfilling campus life.

Personally, I aim to learn more skills and knowledge in terms of planning, organising and managing of people. For the SRC as a whole, I hope every member foster stronger friendship among each other and see SRC as a big family.

As the deputy head of the Sport Department, I am looking forward to work with the members, opening avenues for them to shine their creativities. I hope to open a channel for students to voice out any issues and problems they face in school, to improve our studying environment.

I will work together with the 11th Executive Committee, to build a one big family with memorable memories in our University life together.
