Baro Baro is a newly opened shop, located along Tanjong Pagar Exchange. Known for its signature Korean Egg Bread and their light bulb drinks, they also serve dishes such as Kimbap, Ddeobokki, Noodles as well as Dupbap. All these savory food might sounds like they are going to burn a hole in your wallet , but guess what!! EVERYTHING IS UNDER $12!
Baro Baro even has a breakfast menu with serves their speciality Egg Bread @ only $3!! Other amazing deals include Kimbap @ $6 which comes with a drink (available from 7am to 10pm daily). For those of you who enjoy variety, the Kimbap comes in 4 different flavours - Tuna, Chicken, Kimchi and Bulgogi (beef)!!
Of course, they serve lunch menu as well! The lunch menu comes with three different sets. The first one is the baro set priced @ $11.80! It comes with a Kimbap as the side dish and you can choose the types of the noodle that will satisfy your taste buds the most!! Spicy, Thin Dry, Spicy Dry and Jajjangmyeon !!! The second set would be the Tok Kim Set priced @ $9.90 where you get one hot plate of Ddeobokki (with noodles inside) and the Kimbap as the side dish. The third set would be the Tok Twee Set priced @ $9.80 which includes a hot plate of Ddeobokki and the assorted Twee Kim (fried dumplings).
For those who aren’t too keen on the set lunches, don't worry!! Baro Baro has an À la carte menu with a wide array of selection as well!!

If you are a fan of Korean BBQ, then this is definitely the place for you! This Korean BBQ outlet is located in Chinatown which serves authentic BBQ and Steamboat cuisine! They are prepared specially by experienced chefs who trained in Korea. The restaurant offers a wide variety of meat like beef, pork, chicken (marinated and non-marinated) and seafood! Manbok serves cooked Korean dishes as well like Japchae, seaweed soup and ddeobokki. After all that delicious meat, you can have some fresh fruits and ice cream, offered at no extra charge. Jinjja Chicken is a halal-certified Fast food restaurant, located near Bugis Street. The restaurant doesn’t just serve fried chicken ($7.90 - $8.90). In fact, it serve other dishes such as Jajjangmyeon ($7.90), jjampong ($9.90), burger ($6.90 - $7.90), salad ($6.90 - $7.90), bingsu ($5.90 - $6.90) and many more! In addition, their dishes cost less than $11 unless you decide on going crazy with the ordering. And not to mention this place is a haven for Kpop lovers where you can enjoy great food and amazing music

Korean Tofu House
If you are looking for something lighter after all that fried food, Korean Tofu house is the place for you! This place serves mostly soupy food like Korean stews so if you are looking to cleanse your palate, this is the place for you !! Their specialty would be the Soontofu. Soontofu is a type of Korean stew that consist of freshly curdled tofu, meat or seafood, egg and gochujang served in a hot stone pot with white rice on the side. THIS SOUNDS SO DELICIOUS ALREADY!!! The pricing of the tofu stews ranges from $18.90 - $29.90, and it comes with five Korean side dishes such as kimchi, pickled green chilies, fish and seaweed!!
Though this place is not as cheap as the above mentioned places, the portion as well as the delectable taste of the food choices makes this restaurant worth a visit!
